Simon Hillis is a professional big mountain skier, videographer and all around adventure enthusiast. Born in Bali, Indonesia, Simon moved to Rossland, British Columbia with his family at the age of three. 

Simon started his ski career competing in the North American Freeski circuit where he dominated the junior competition with several wins and North American junior championship titles. 

At the age of 15 Simon broke into the film world appearing in Warren Miller’s “Face of Winter”. Since then he has starred in two Teton Gravity Research films and one additional Warren Miller film.

In 2021 Simon produced his own eight-part web series “Nearly Nowhere”. Simon self-documented two seasons and produced, edited, filmed and starred in each episode. 

A well versed individual with passions ranging from river guiding to rock climbing to backcountry skiing to cinematography to overlanding and camping, he’s only 21 years old and has big goals to come.
